Born in Azamgarh, and an alumnus of AMU, Mr. Frank Islam is a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and civic leader. Currently based in the US, he founded the QSS Group, and at present, is the CEO of FI Investment group. He is pretty close to President Barak Obama, who also appointed him as the General Trustee of the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He was also the member of the US Delegation headed by Obama earlier in 2015 to attend the Republic Parade on PM Modi’s invitation. During this visit, Frank announced $2 million donation to AMU for the construction of a new management complex to be named as Frank Islam and Debbie Driesman Department of Management and Faculty of Management Studies and Research. In May 2015, the Frank Islam and Debbie Driesman Foundation even released the first installment of $222,000 as a part of the commitment. Debbie is Frank’s wife.
